All local residents are warmly invited to participate in any of our upcoming events and programs.
Come and explore life, faith and meaning at Alpha. Each week we watch a part of the Alpha film series, which addresses questions like, “Who is Jesus?”, “Why Church?” and “How do I Pray?”. Each video is followed by a time of conversation where no question is off-limits and it’s OK to express doubt. The Alpha promise is no pressure, no charge and no follow-up. We’re starting up on Sep 20th, but you can still join on Sep 27th or Oct 4th.
Daughter Project Club mentors girls to have confidence in their value and inner beauty. We offer a safe environment where girls can share the challenges of their everyday life and where we can help them live up to their potential. On Wednesdays from 5-6:30pm, we eat, chat, craft and explore what God says about our purpose and value. For 2017-2018 girls in grade 5-9 are welcome to join at any time – we kick off our year on Sep 20th.
Ethena Williams, RSW, M.Div., of Five Star Relationships is available for professional counseling appointments at GCF for clients of all ages coping with life’s challenges. Ethena is here every other Wednesday from 2-7pm. Please contact her directly to schedule: 416-735-6182 or email@example.com.
