Our Sunday services are about intentionally setting aside time in our busy schedules to meet with God and express our love to Him. We meet at 10:00am, and our service lasts just over an hour. On a typical morning, our band leads us in a few songs, we spend some time in prayer, we share information about upcoming events and programs, we receive donations, and our Pastor spends some time teaching messages that are practical for our lives today and rooted in God’s word, the Bible.
Parents are welcome to keep their children in the service with them if they prefer; we have tables reserved for families with kids at the back of the sanctuary and activity books are available. Alternatively, parents can make use of our staffed nursery or register for our Sunday morning GCF Kids programs, where kids enjoy music, activities and lessons geared to their age level. All of the volunteers in our children’s programs are trained and screened.
We believe that part of putting our faith into action is giving out of the material wealth we enjoy in Canada to support the work of other organizations that are caring for the physical and spiritual needs of others around the world. We have partnerships with the following missions organizations:
• Sew on Fire Ministries providing humanitarian aid globally
• Noah’s Ark Home for Children caring for orphans in the Philippines
• Welcome Home Children’s Centre caring for orphans in Haiti
• John & Audrey Van Belle ministering in El Salvador
